In general, solar-powered street lights have an elevated light source powered by solar panels, either installed on the lighting structure or integrated into the pole itself. The solar panels charge a rechargeable battery at night, which powers a fluorescent or LED bulb. Using solar panel power, most lights are activated and deactivated automatically when they detect outside light. Our Solar Street Lights are engineered to operate continuously during the nighttime hours of operation. If the sun is not visible in the sky for a lengthy period, many can remain lighted for several nights.
